Q: What is your Credit Policy?

A: VOICE WORK: It is the policy of Scott Radio.com to issue a PayPal© invoice at time of agreement for all services. Payment is due when services begin. PayPal© accepts most major credit cards and checks. You do not need to be a PayPal© member to pay via PayPal©. In the event a written invoice is required for payment please advise. Your payment via PayPal© or your request for an invoice is a binding agreement and in doing so you agree and consent to Scott Radio, Inc. obtaining credit information (credit reports, reference checks or banking information) deemed necessary in making a credit level determination. Credit limit may be reduced if the customer has One or more past due bills.

ADVERTISING AGENCY: All radio buys are cash in advance per FEC rules. Scott Radio does not extend credit for radio buys. Funds are to be wired to check sent overnight to Scott Radio before Insertion Orders can be mailed with check to radio stations. Scott Radio bank of record is Bank Of America.

We offer credit terms of:

Balance due at project start
Deposit with balance due upon delivery
Deposit with periodic progress payments
Net 10 - net amount due in 10 days
Late payment Finance charges of 2%

We collect overdue bills as follows:

At 1 month past due, we send a friendly E-mail reminder
At 2 months past due, we cease providing service until invoices paid
At 3 months past due, we terminate relationship and report to credit/collections agency.

Q: How long does it take to get my project completed?

A: Each voice or script project is unique. At the project start we set a specific timeline. Scott has a reputation of always finishing before the deadline. Most projects can be completed within 24-48 hours.

Q: How do I know my order for work was received

A: Because Internet programs, email systems and servers are not perfect, Scott Radio will contact you via E-mail or telephone with 24 hours of your submission. Contact Scott Radio via telephone at 612-384-2549 if you are not contacted in this time frame.

Q: How is the Voice Work and/or Script delivered to me?

A: To facilitate and ensure 24/7 access of your commercials by multiple radio stations or agencies, Scott Radio establishes an unique page for your business. The "Download Page" is confidential. The URL (link) is provided only to authorized users. Please save your initial email from Scott Radio with the URL address information. We also suggest adding the URL address page to your favorites for quick access.

Other delivery options include E-mail or the client can request over night / priority mail of the script/voice work. Postage costs are the responsibility of the client.

Q: What type of equipment does Scott Radio use?

A: All files are recorded at 16 bit, 44.1 khz quality and saved in the .MP3 or WAV format for the quickest download.

Scott Radio's studio is fully equipped for high-quality voice-overs and production, including an Audix OM2, the highly acclaimed OM series professional microphone. TASCAM US-122 audio interface and TASCAM's GigaStudio 24 workstation, Polk monitors, Sony CD player and latest model Toshiba Satellite® notebook high-quality PC technology.

To maintain his vocal equipment, Scott is a non smoker and enjoys daily exercise.

Q: What are the Consulting fees charged by Scott Radio?

A: $300.00 per hour billed in fifteen minute segments. Long term consulting fees require a quote based on duration and expectations. The first conversation is always free to review the situation and determine if we are a match for each other.

Q: What is the copy writing process?

A: It is important to gather as much information as possible. A Live Chat Session or telephone conversation, Internet research, review of any documents the client provides and research of competitors advertisements all enter into the process. Every client is unique in their approval process. Some scripts require approval from different departments (i.e.legal). At the project start we set a specific timeline. Scott Radio has a reputation of always finishing before the deadline. Scripts are delivered via E-mail.

Q: What are the fees charged by Scott Radio's Advertising Agency?

A: Standard Agency Rate of Fifteen Percent (15%) of all radio or media purchased. We buy the Agency or Gross rates from the radio stations and they invoice Scott Radio a Net amount due which is less 15% of the invoice. Never a cost for voice work if Scott Perreault is the voice. Other voices require a quote.

Q: What is Live Chat?

A: You can chat live, real time with Scott whenever you have questions. Scott Radio is available daily. Times vary. Few clients ever need to call. If unavailable, you will have the option to leave an email message. Pop-up blockers prevent Live Help.
